16th Annual Frying Pan River Cleanup

Help clean up one of the most beautiful stretches of river in the country! Volunteers of all ages welcome! Join us for a free breakfast before cleaning up a mile section of the river. Please dress appropriately with warm layers, gloves, long pants, a hat and sunscreen. Prizes for: Best of Trash, Most Toxic, Most Useful, Most Unusual Trash. Participant Information

Breakfast and registration starts at 8:30 am. Teams of 3-4 people are arranged, assigned about a mile of river, and head out to clean up around 9:15 am. Entries of trash for prizes must be registered at Lions Park by 11:45 am. The cleanup often happens in not so ideal weather.

 

Please be prepared with proper clothing, including: 

  • long pants
  • gloves
  • hat
  • sunscreen
  • proper footwear
  • water
