Ernie retired to the Redstone area in 1998, allowing him to further expand his flyfishing passion.  He became involved with the Ferdinand Hayden Chapter in 2000, and has served in several capacities with the chapter, including President, Newsletter Editor, and Website Coordinator.  Currently, Ernie is the Membership Coordinator, and assists Colorado Trout Unlimited with arranging the details for the annual 3-day Spring Rendezvous held at Redstone.  Ernie enjoys fishing many of the Colorado and neighboring states' waters, and gets away occasionally for some saltwater flyfishing.
